Peebles Town Team

We are working to strengthen the core institutional capacity of the PCT through the establishment of a “Town Team” - securing of an accessible base in or near the centre of town, and the establishment of a funded position of facilitator / anchor person to drive forward the work of the Trust.

As identified as a priority action within the Town Action Plan completed in May 2016 - the “Establishment of a “Town Team” – essentially a town development coordination unit comprising a funded coordinator and office / shop window, located in a central and visible position in the town, and supported by a small complement of volunteers and paid staff tasked with planning and taking forward priority actions. ….. Once the “Town Team” is funded and operational, its lead officer will then form a focal point to take forward the various projects and initiatives of the PCT.
